This module consists of two tools: Smart Browser Manage and BIM Tree Manager. The BIM MANAGER module has the fullest functionality, starting from company library creation and ending with real-time extensive management of all elements present in an active Autodesk® Revit® project. BIM MANAGER saves weeks of work when it comes to Revit family library creation and full control of all family parameters inside created libraries and in ongoing projects. Revit users with the BIM MANAGER module can control how a company library is seen and whether it is accessible to other project participants.Read more »

Several new features have been added to Sort Mark, our tool for automatically renumbering Revit® elements. Let’s go through the latest updates.
Split parameter values
There are 4 new functions that let you split parameter values into parts, select a part, and select or remove characters. To show how the functions work, we’ll refer to the windows below that have as parameter values the “comments” S1_W1, S1_W2, and S1_W3.
This free 30-minute webinar on May 5th will be an advanced tutorial about creating and controlling a Revit family library by utilizing our Smart Browser BIM Solution. Keeping track of and controlling families to be used in projects and checking, verifying, creating, and batch-modifying parameters of multiple families and their types will all be shown, so this webinar is especially relevant to BIM managers. But it’s also intended for BIM team leads and members, as tailored software modules of Smart Browser give each Revit user the functionality and library access needed to do the job according to his or her role on the BIM team.
The result you’ll see is a family library wherein selected families will be modified to fit a certain standard set by the presenter. All data will be saved in a shared location for use in current and future projects. Following that, changes will be made in the family library and applied to an existing project containing unmodified families to show that implementation of this tool can be done at any step of the process.
Whether you’re an architect, structural or MEP engineer, or a modeler who uses Revit, this tool will help keep your virtual workplace tidy and consistent. It’s a boon for BIM managers who need to make sure the whole team is on the same page as far as what BIM content is to be used, updating libraries, maintaining a consistent database, who can edit what, etc. The webinar will be held twice, so please register for the session that’s more convenient for you. We hope you’ll sign up!
Beam Reinforcement, the newest feature incorporated into our Precast Concrete design software, lets you efficiently model beam reinforcement for rectangular, L and IT shaped beams per your defined rules. By applying layout rules to different types of stirrups, you can create most any reinforcement pattern.
Here’s a webinar we hosted showing the workflow for using Beam Reinforcement as a feature of our Precast Concrete design software.
You can read through the basic workflow for using Beam Reinforcement below.
These are the commands at your disposal:
Do shop tickets take longer for you to pull together than they should? Join our webinar about inserting dimensions automatically in shop drawings of precast concrete elements in Revit.
The 1-hour presentation + Q&A will be hosted twice on February 13th, so please join the session that’s more convenient for you.
Whether you’re a seasoned user of our Precast Concrete software for Revit or you’re just looking into ways of streamlining your precast design process, we hope you’ll join in.
Does finding content in your Revit® library eat up too much time? How about modifying Revit families?
If so, then sign up for our free webinar about efficient BIM content management using our Smart Browser software for Revit. It makes browsing, sorting, managing, and controlling Revit families a breeze and drastically reduces the time required to modify them.
Especially for BIM managers, BIM content creators, and Revit users. Whether you’re a seasoned user of Smart Browser or you’re curious to see what this BIM content management software is capable of, we hope you’ll join in!
Among the updates we’ll show are:
- enhanced UI. (The old UI looked like this… → )
- load multiple Families or Family Types simultaneously
- change view to thumbnail view (large/medium) or list view
- dock the Smart Browser window in Revit – just like you can with Revit’s Properties or Project Browser windows
- auto-sort and renumber Revit elements using the integrated Sort Mark add-on (more on that after the jump)

Thanks to everyone who participated in our webinar about the 12 Revit add-ons in our Tools4Revit Suite. It was one of the biggest turnouts we’ve ever had! All seats were taken, so some of you who registered were unable to view the live webinar.
If you’d like to review the webinar, head over to our YouTube channel to watch it. While there, please subscribe to our channel! Meanwhile, here’s a trimmed down version showing a clip of each add-on.
Are you an out-of-box Revit user?
Or maybe you don’t use Revit, but you’re thinking about making the switch from AutoCAD 2D to BIM?
Either way, this webinar is for you.
Modeling and documentation of precast concrete elements in Revit is the topic. We’re talking slabs, stairs, balconies, columns, etc. Connections, reinforcement, shop drawings, construction drawings, and detail views will also be covered. Plus, your host will talk about the advantages and challenges of using Revit for designing precast, show some tips and tricks, and present the efficiency tools that our Precast Concrete BIM Solution brings to the table.
The 1-hour webinar + Q&A will be hosted twice on December 12th, so please join the time most convenient for you.
A few months ago we released a couple of Dynamo scripts for reinforcing precast walls in Revit. Since those churned up a lot of interest, we decided to go forward with creating a Wall Reinforcement add-on.
Wall Reinforcement lets you efficiently distribute wall reinforcement for solid, double, and sandwich walls based on defined rules. It recognizes the shape of the wall and distributes the main reinforcement and additional reinforcement for the wall perimeter and openings.
Here’s a webinar we hosted that shows the workflow for using this Revit extension.
And here’s an outline of the basic workflow to follow when using Wall Reinforcement.
