Direct export of CLT (cross-laminated timber) panels from Revit® to Weinmann® machines
One of the leading manufacturers of state-of-the-art machinery, equipment, and systems for timber houses, WEINMANN offers a perfectly coordinated production line for efficient wood framing processing. WEINMANN machines for wood working are used all over the world: in Europe, Australia, Africa, South America, etc.
AGACAD’s Weinmann BTL CLT Exporter allows construction companies to predefine cutting operations and rules for automated CNC machines, including marking and texting operations for every panel – directly from Revit. Cross-laminated timber panels can be exported using this application.
Compatible with Autodesk® Revit® 2023, 2022, 2021
The Weinmann (BTL) CLT Exporter must be used with AGACAD Wood Framing CLT, which creates frames and CLT panels with all needed geometry and information data within Revit. Exported files can be viewed and checked with a free BTL viewer.
Processing definitions include drilling, tenon, mortise, longitudinal cut, double cut, ridge cut, valley cut, and other.
Here’s an example of wall panels created using Wood Framing Wall and then exported to Weinmann machine:

AGACAD’s Weinmann BTL CLT application generates BTL extension files readable by Weinmann CNC machines. Cross-laminated timber panels for walls, floors, and roofs can easily be exported using this application.
- Selected CLT panels and host CLT panels can be exported from a Revit model to a Weinmann (BTL) file with just one click. Panels can also be exported from schedules: →
- Installation includes settings where you can define CNC file locations, project information parameters, element identification and marking, CNC command naming, etc.:
- Using AGACAD CNC Weinmann (BTL) CLT Exporter, you can automate element identification, marking, and texting for CLT panels. There are different ways to filter elements.
- All settings can be saved and used for other projects.
