Upon client request, we went forward with developing another Revit tool for placing rebar, this time for precast concrete beams. Introducing our Beam Reinforcement tool for Revit!
In this initial release, you can use it to place main rebar and stirrups in beams with rectangular, L, and IT sections. While it’s primarily made for precast, it also works for cast-in-place. See the workflow for reinforcing beams automatically in Revit.
Beam Reinforcement is available as part of our Precast Concrete design software, which now covers modeling and documentation of precast elements, wall reinforcement, and beam reinforcement as well.
