Sweden’s BIM software leader AEC AB chose AGA CAD developed frame construction and engineering network design solutions as the most appropriate for their clients.
Negotiations, which started in last year’s second half have finally culminated in the beginning of this year when a partnership agreement was signed. AEC AB – one of the largest software distributing companies operating in Sweden is interested in representing AGA CAD not just in Sweden, but in Finland and other Scandinavian countries too: Denmark and Norway.
AEC AB is a leading Swedish company providing special software and services for construction industry. Seeing that there is a shortage of BIM programs for effective design in the market, the AEC Company sought add-ons for Autodesk Revit programs that could be offered to Scandinavian designers.
About half a year ago, AEC team’s attention was caught by “AGA CAD” developed framed building design tools, fit for the Autodesk Revit software users. This company was looking for IT solution that would be similar to MWF HomeBuilder tools but made for the European market and not only for the 2*4″ system used in USA market.
