Main Smart Hangers possibilities
This new product is designed to help you to complete your MEP design in Autodesk® Revit®. Its features let Revit MEP users split ducts, pipes, cable trays or conduits into segments according to the manufacturer’s specified lengths, and place hangers or supports automatically in Revit BIM model. The MEP engineers can determine the proper size hangers/supports and display them in schedules.
The powerful solution Smart Hangers provides a set of tools for distribution of hangers or supports to ducts, pipes or other line based Generic Model elements in various ways. Hangers or supports can be automatically attached to sloped roofs, structural framings, walls, floors, structural foundations or even reference planes from the current or linked project.
Using Smart Hangers you will not need to worry about modifications. Rods of hanger and support will be automatically updated if there are any changes in the project. Moreover, Smart Hangers is a very handy BIM solution because it allows you to distribute hangers on MEP elements those come with IFC format.
Main benefits of Smart Hangers
It reduces time in MEP project design of construction documents and significantly increases the speed of MEP design. You will not need to place hangers or supports one by one. Smart Hangers will do that automatically by predefined rules.
Smart Hangers can use any producer or user created hangers, support, and bracing. This BIM solution allows you to avoid errors because handling elements will be always updated according to the changes in the current or linked project.
