The most recent version of Smart Documentation has several improvements that are made to enhance your workflow in Autodesk® Revit®.
Among the new features is the capability to set up smart tagging configurations that you can run in active models as well as linked files; this update addresses the challenge of slow project annotation when models are linked.
Also of note is the ability to better control which families are included when creating or updating an assembly. Specifically, all hosted and nested elements no longer have to be automatically included; you can choose what to include.
Along with those updates, there’s an option to make assemblies that were created outside our application “smart” – that is, existing views and sheets can be preserved, and Smart Documentation will add new ones based on the configurations you set.
