Dynamo scripts for rebar (part I): Diagonal reinforcement and U-bar

A hot-topic among precast designers is automating rebar placement in Revit. We’ve been working on development of Dynamo scripts to do just that. During February 2019, we’ll be releasing a series of videos – Dynamo Scripts for Rebar in Revit – showing what we’ve come up with for placing different types of rebar.

Here’s Part I, diagonal reinforcement of openings and U-bar for wall perimeters.

Be on the lookout for future videos about other possibilities, including U-bar reinforcement of opening edges, wall edges, and main reinforcement. When these scripts are all finished, they’ll be free for our existing Precast Concrete users!
