T4R is an exemplary new software solution for architects, constructors, engineers and building contractors who want to stay one step ahead of the competitors.”

“Our goal in developing AGA CAD Revit-based BIM technologies was to create tools, those expand Autodesk Revit capabilities increasing design process efficiency and productivity and at the same time reducing the design costs,” explained Donatas Aksomitas, Chief Executive Officer of AGA CAD. “We are excited to work with Omnix International for their high competence to implement IT solutions for AEC industry. As a pioneer in the development of Autodesk Revit add-ons, we believe our work with Omnix will help to accelerate adoption of Autodesk BIM technology in this region. At an early date our goal is to help Omnix team to learn our products as faster as possible that it can properly represent AGA CAD software in the Middle East region.”

Gitana Cerniauskiene, International Sales Manager of AGA CAD, said: “For me, as AGA CAD’s Sales Manager, it is essential that representation region of our products is constantly being expanded. I see huge potential in the Middle East region, so I am very happy for this coming collaboration. We are confident that they will be able to promote and market our T4R extensions successfully, giving users in the region the advantage of gaining more benefits from using Autodesk Revit software.”

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is an economically diverse region, but its economic outlook is promising. It includes both the oil-rich economies in the Gulf and countries that are resource-scarce in relation to population, such as Egypt and Yemen. But Egypt’s economy is slowly recovering from the turmoil that followed its 2011 revolution. So “countries of this region have a common feature: building industry is intensely developed there. Also over the last few years, there has been a significant change in the BIM way. A succession of positive Building Information Modelling (BIM) project outcomes has helped convince the construction industry of the Middle East region that BIM should be the way forward. The large-scale adoption of BIM in construction could mean endless Omnix and AGA CAD collaboration possibilities for the future,” Gitana added.

AGA CAD’s technology and experience in Revit-based products and solutions development coupled with Omnix International’s sales, marketing, implementation and support strength, will help designers of the MENA region to improve project outcomes, prevent design mistakes, reduce the budget of the project, and save plenty of working hours.
