In February 1st AGACAD team celebrates company’s 25th anniversary, since the company’s establishment in 1991.
For these 25 years the company went through a major transformation, becoming one of BIM application development leaders that have the widest range of Autodesk® Revit® applications and features world-wide. From reselling Autodesk software and two employees 25 years ago to more than 30 developed applications for Autodesk Revit and more than 20 team members today, AGACAD has evolved into a trusted name in memory of Revit users in 129 countries around the world.
It has been 25 years of creation, education and innovation, in which Revit® community supporters, clients, and partners have helped the company to become as it is today. While celebrating this anniversary, we thank you for being with us through these years and that you encourage us to move forward! Some milestones from AGACAD history:
> 1991 – The year AGACAD started. The company became the first reseller of Autodesk products in the Baltic States & Autodesk Authorized Training Centre (ATC).
> 2007 – AGACAD became Autodesk Authorized Developer that creates applications for Autodesk Revit.
Talking to the customers and getting the feedback we had discovered that wood framing design was a complicated process for them. That was the main reason why we decided to expend Autodesk Revit capabilities. Our first application Wood Framing Rafter+ was developed for Revit v2009. Since its release we have been of huge interest to the Revit users. So, the success showed us that we were going in the right direction.
> 2008 – This year, AGACAD ATC became an Autodesk Authorized Certification Center as well.
> 2011 – The first public acknowledgement from Autodesk side: an interview with AGACAD team member was published in the official Autodesk blog BIM Apps.
> 2014 – AGACAD TOOLS4BIM product portfolio reached 30 applications for Revit.
> 2016 – Celebrating 25 years.
