Insert column shoes for precast concrete columns
About the video

1. Insert column shoes. (Here, we use Peikko column shoes from ProdLib library.)

2. If the Revit family doesn’t snap to the host, just modify it via the Family Editor.

3. Create configuration to insert column shoes all at once.

4. Apply configuration to all columns.

5. Flip details using the ‘Modify Elements’ command.

6. Update other columns.

7. Modify the Family to automatically track the size of the column.

8. Rotate the column shoes in one column, and update the others so that they all automatically follow the size of the precast column.
