Visibility Control of Reinforcing Bars in Revit® Project Views

If you like graphical ways to display elements in Autodesk® Revit®, you can use an easy way to present different types of reinforcement in different colors. And it can be done without using any Revit apps.

To do this, you have to open Object Styles from Manage tab:

Then choose Structural Rebar category and add New Subcategories:

After you have created New Subcategories, assign them to Rebar Bars through the rebar Type Properties.

This is how it looks after you assign different subcategories to different reinforcement types. You can easily see and evaluate different diameters of reinforcement.

That’s all. Now you know how to easily control the visibility and graphic display of model elements of each view in your Revit project.
